ADS7142-Q1 - Automotive 12-bit 140kSPS 2-channel nanopower SAR ADC with 1.8V operation

Updated : 2020-01-09 14:26:37
Description

The ADS7142-Q1 is 12-bit, 140-kSPS successive-approximation register (SAR)analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that can autonomously monitor signals while maximizing systempower, reliability, and performance. The device implements event-triggered interrupts per channelusing a digital window comparator with programmable high and low thresholds, hysteresis, and eventcounter. The device includes a dual-channel analog multiplexer in front of a SAR ADC followed by aninternal data buffer for converting and capturing data from sensors.

The ADS7142-Q1 is available in a 10-pin WSON package and can achieve low powerconsumption of only 900 nW. The small form-factor and low-power consumption make this devicesuitable for space-constrained applications.
